Packaging is both a customer-facing brand moment and a practical part of exporting. Considering both sides early can prevent avoidable revisions.

Start with the sales channel

Retail shelves, online orders and wholesale distribution may need different packaging dimensions, product information and protective features.

Prepare brand assets

Have the logo, brand colors, required copy, barcode requirements and language versions ready before artwork is finalized.

Plan shipping protection

Ask how products are packed in inner packaging and master cartons. Confirm carton dimensions, gross weight and packing quantity.

Review a production-ready proof

Check spelling, color, dimensions, barcode readability and required market information before approving artwork.

BUYER'S NOTE
Treat packaging artwork and shipping-carton specifications as two related but separate approvals.
